Bodycomb Rants and Raves

This past weekend Klare and I decided to “ditch the dish”. But, instead of switching to a cable company we have decided to go back to the days of old and put up rabbit ears. The over the air reception is pretty good, and for the price there is no way to beat the HD reception. DirectTV kept increasing our rates to where we were paying over $60 a month without any premium channels.

I have also setup a connection from the laptop to a TV so that we can watch shows over the internet. The website Hulu is a great site for shows and movies. Our favorite shows are Colbert Report and The Dailey Show. The nice thing is that there are fewer and shorter commercials then regular TV. But the bad thing is that either our internet isn’t fast enough or the wireless connection isn’t fast enough to fully stream video without pausing.

Who knows how long this endeavor might last. So many fun things have been happening lately that I thought that a new way to express them might be interesting. I have maintained the picture side of the website for a long time and will continue to do so.

My goal is to post a few times a week and try to talk about things that are important to me at the time. Things that I might write about include: Events with Klare, Bailey, and family; Hobbies such as tennis, gardening, and wood working; Current Events such as politics and war; and Sports such as Braves baseball.
